Customer Reviews & Ratings
Food was bomb. BUT! Be prepared to be sold into other stuff you didn't come in for. I was swindled into buying way more than what I wanted but I was disappointed either. Everything was yummy and fresh.
Had to raise back my rating. My last visit I had talked about the rice smelling bad... this time no issue. Hopefully my last visit will be the only time I had bad rice from here. As stated in all my updates here... their breakfast is where it's at. $6 for fried rice, Mac salad, 2 eggs, spam, bacon and Portuguese sausage. Can't go wrong. On top of that they usually have fried gougee, rice cake, pork hash and all kinds of other things ready as well. $20 got me a breakfast plate 6 pork hash and gougee. The owner is always cool and the workers are nice but sometimes they can be pushy to get you to order more. If you can resist ordering more than what you came for then just tell them no... unfortunately I can't resist haha. I always end up getting me some pork hash and gougee, sometimes rice cake as well. Oh and if you go for breakfast, it's $6 before 10am so get there before 10 for the best deal.
Catered for Christmas for a Filipino family of 100+ guests. Ordered a jumbo platter of meat jun, chicken katsu, steamed fish, cake noodles, rice cake, beef broccoli, sweet and sour spare ribs, and still had quarter of the pan left that it took us a half hour to make take out containers. The prices are cheap and reasonable for the huge amount of portions they give!!! Will definitely be ordering from them more often!
Food preparation on time and very awesome customer service Thank you, Jackie
The beef broccoli is phenomenal... crispy, tender meat. Lots of gravy. Beautiful presentation.
Oyster sauce chicken was spot on!!! The portion size is huge and the flavor is on point. The cake noodles were just okay, seemed a little over done for my liking. The service was excellent and the staff are friendly. The chef came out front to thank us for coming in and check on us, that was nice! The atmosphere is a little less to be desired. There were only 2 tables with one long bench seat and a few other chairs. The front area is a bit cluttered but fairly clean. It could use a deep cleaning and scrubbing. Next time I would definitely order takeout and not dine in but my family was hungry and couldn't wait! Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. The upselling was real. I got bamboozled into buying more pork hash and rice cake than we needed but they were delicious! The pork has are huge! Larger than a golf ball but smaller than a tennis ball and dense with pork filling. Very yummy. I would definitely recommend this place. If your on a budget stick to the oyster sauce chicken with cake noodles for only $8.99 otherwise everything else is $15-18 a plate. Go check it out, it's worth it!
I'll keep this review short and simple. This place is kinda pricey but well worth every penny spent. You gotta watch out though when you start ordering. The person helping you is gonna try to sell you more dishes and next thing you know you're going home with 8 dishes instead of the mindset of 5 going in. Lol. It happened to me twice but like I said it's well worth every money spent. They don't only sell Chinese food. They sell some Filipino dishes too. Those were good too. So if you're craving Chinese food and want to splurge a little. Go straight to kin sing Chinese fast food. I'll even take that extra 15 minute drive to Waipahu just to make sure I'm guaranteeing good food. Trust me you'll thank me later.
Wife wanted steamed fish, quick Yelp search and off we went! Walked in and was immediately greeted! Ordered and after a few questions, added on more items per the owners suggestion. By far the best service I've gotten at a chinese restaurant ever! The most friendly people! Ordered the steamed fish, shrimp fried rice, char siu, roast pork, and pork hash! Was also given a couple free sodas! Again, best service! Wife loved the steamed fish and fried rice! So def a win! The pork hash and char siu were okay. The pork hash was decent. Overall would def be back for the shrimp fried rice and steamed fish and awesome service!
